“Flash Hummingbird”

STORY BEHIND IMAGE - My hummingbird feeder sat with no visitors for almost a year, then one arrived. I asked my youngest son what we should call him and he said FLASH almost immediately. It took a while for him to gain the confidence to visit while I was in door trying to get a photo, but now he comes always and brings friends. Just once he made the mistake of flying inside, then realized his error and promptly left...next step, if to get him to land on my finger. In any case, our sunsets are beautiful that our birds and us all enjoy every day. What does the campaign say??...'Shot on iPhone'...as this one was!!
BIO - Born in Sydney Australia, spent some time living on Gold Coast Queensland, moved to New York City in April 2000. Then moved to Manhattan Beach in December 2018...shortly after in 2020 took up surfing and met the local community whom I love and enjoy every day!! Thank you all your caring, sharing, laughs and occasional "GO" on that wave which looks a bit big!
